The return of the vanilla version of the cult MMORPG breaks popularity records

After years of waiting, Blizzard has finally launched the return of the vanilla version of the iconic MMORPG World of Warcraft Classic. Some game servers were already crowded, and popular streamers from around the world rushed to play a novelty on their channels. As a result, the game is firmly entrenched in the Twitch top with a stunning peak rate of 1.1 million viewers. By comparison, the overly popular Fortnite has recently shown results between 100,000 and 200,000 viewers at a time.

What is particularly striking is the willingness of viewers to watch broadcasts, even when streamers are waiting in line for the server. For example, by the time the popular Asmongold streamer managed to log in to the server, more than 200,000 people were already watching its stream. Naturally, the audience activity on WoW Classic broadcasts will eventually come to naught, but at the moment the Blizzard game is, by all accounts, the best choice for streamers trying to keep up with trends.
