A Reddit user noticed that in January of this year, Blizzard managed to get domain rights for Diablo 4 (diablo4.com), which had been walking along other people's hands since 2002.
The enthusiast notes that American developers got access to the diablo3.com domain just a month before the official presentation of Diablo III in June 2008, which was held in Paris at the Blizzard WorldWide Invitational - a kind of BlizzCon, held outside the US.
The user also notes that the domain playdiablo4.com, which after the scandalous announcement of the mobile Diablo: Immortal redirected to the site of Path of Exile, is still owned by another Reddit user - Zeiin.
