Bethesda Softworks and developers at id Software and Avalanche Studios have announced that the first Rage 2 add-on called Ghost Rise will be released on September 26, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The main innovation of the add-on will be Ghosts. According to the developers, once these ruthless, malicious and cunning opponents terrified the Wasteland, but after the wars with the Government they all disappeared somewhere. As it turned out, in fact, a strange woman named Iris promised them power and glory if they would do what she said.
Together with Iris, the Ghosts fled to the Overgrown City. There, they underwent intensive psychological processing for years, and also underwent many physical manipulations and received powerful and mysterious nanotritic abilities. Now the Ghosts are back to conquer the Wasteland again. Walker will go to the huge Overgrown city and stop the Ghosts rebellion.
For this, the developers will replenish the arsenal of the protagonist with the new Abyss ability, as well as a feltrito laser cannon. In addition, with the addition of "Ghost Rise" in Rage 2 will appear a new motorcycle - "Ghost". Players can find it in the Overgrown city and transport it to their garage.
