The authors of the classic games of the Elder Scrolls series are preparing a new RPG

Many users complain that the spirit of classic games has long been lost. And if the situation has improved slightly in terms of militants, then with RPG everything is bad. But it seems that soon this will change for the better.

It is reported that ex-developers of the Elder Scrolls series of games founded OnceLost Games and intend to release a large-scale RPG with an open world, modern graphics technology and excellent game design. The studio will tell the details of its new project before the end of this year.

Among the developers are Julian Lefei (worked on TES: Arena and TES II: Daggerfall), Ted Peterson (designer of Arena and Daggerfall, screenwriter Morrowind and Oblivion, as well as quest designer for Morrowind), Vijay Lakshmana (TES: Arena and The Lord of the Rings Online) and others.

At the moment, it is known that the novelty will receive the atmosphere and design of classic RPGs, coupled with modern graphics solutions. Nonlinear quests, a character creation and development system, and a rich universe have already been confirmed. At the same time, events will partly be revealed in conversations with NPCs and in-game books.

And in the spring, Bethesda began distributing the free version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to the 25th anniversary of the line.
