Marcin Momot, CD Projekt RED Senior Community Manager, announced the decision to make Cyberpunk 2077 completely first-person in order to achieve a greater degree of immersion - this will help both the storytelling and the gameplay.
In the 48-minute video, which was shown a year ago, there were several scenes where the protagonist was shown “from the side”, however, apparently, there will be almost no such frames in the final version.
The created character can be seen in the inventory menu, while driving (apparently, they will still leave a third-person view in vehicles), in mirrors and in very rare cutscenes - apparently in the same mirrors.
In addition, a representative of CD Projekt RED via a Cyberpunk 2077 account on Twitter said that in the first person there will even be bed scenes - this, of course, is very unusual for games.
The RPG will be released on April 16 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
