Nintendo announced in its official Twitter account that Tetris 99 will be released in Europe on physical media on September 20, 2019. The publication includes all the content of Big Block DLC and Nintendo Switch Online annual subscription.

In addition, later this year Big Block DLC will receive two additional offline modes. The first is a local arena with support for up to eight players, and the second is a royal battle, where two players will fight each other with the help of Joy-Con controllers.

Recall that the Tetris 99 was released on the Nintendo Switch in February 2019. At the start, there was only one mode in it, but three months after the release, the developers from the Arika studio released the paid add-on Big Block DLC. It costs $ 10 and adds two offline modes to the game: standard royal battle, but with bots, and the classic marathon, where you need to earn as many points as possible before losing.
