In October 2018, Steam Robot (The Signal From Tölva and Sir, You Are Being Hunted), the stealth action movie The Light Keeps Us Safe, went into early access to Steam. And today, the developers announced an official release: the game has been updated to version 1.0.
In The Light Keeps Us Safe, we find ourselves in a post-apocalyptic world run by robots. As in Sir, You Are Being Hunted, we have to rely not on shooting, but on secrecy: when choosing for provisions or on a mission, it is important not to catch their eye.
In a procedurally generated world, traps and traps are placed at every step. And only light helps to detect them. And in order to illuminate the next section of the path, you have to solve puzzles.
For the release version, the developers have prepared a patch that slightly improves performance - although they still promise to work on it. In addition, they remade many of the location templates, and now players are waiting for more interesting and complex territories.
But the main innovation is difficulty levels. Moreover, you can switch them on the fly: if the mission was too complicated, you can always reduce the passions.
