Cloud Imperium announced the next Star Citizen transfers: in connection with the optimization of production and the parallel development of several large projects, developers had to postpone the launch of the beta of the storyline campaign Squadron 42 for three months.

The transfer, of course, is far from the first - initially they planned to give the single three years ago, in 2016, but this did not happen. Now the start of beta is expected only in the third quarter of 2020.

Cloud Imperium's production optimization resulted in a split into two teams: one working on update 3.7, while the other on 3.8. When the creation of 3.7 is completed, the first team will begin work on 3.9.

The main characters of the Squadron 42 story campaign are played by famous Hollywood actors, including Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, Gillian Anderson, Ben Mendelssohn, Mark Strong and Henry Cavill.
