The Canadian company Skybox Labs was founded in 2011 and mainly specializes in publishing games. Nevertheless, several times its employees took part in the joint development of, for example, the tactical strategy of TASTEE: Lethal Tactics.
One of the projects in the creation of which the publishing house is directly involved is the adventure platform game Stela. Judging by the video, Stela is going to play on the field of Limbo, Inside and similar atmospheric platformers.
The heroine is moving towards her goal in the ancient world, which is dying before her eyes. The gameplay will be extremely simple: in addition to the movement keys, only a jump and interaction are provided. There will be no dialogues or other texts, and the duration of the game is designed for three hours.
Nevertheless, the project now looks atmospheric and mysterious. Visitors to the PAX West 2019 exhibition, which will be held in Seattle from August 30 to September 3, 2019, will be able to test it live. And before the end of the year, the game should go on PC and Xbox One.
