As it became known last month, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is going to Nintendo Switch. However, rolling out his lip and waiting for the forthcoming sequel to come out on the hybrid console is not worth it yet.

In the second installment of Gamescom 2019, an event-driven magazine from Xbox, Xbox general marketing manager Aaron Greenberg said the release of the first Nintendo platform game doesn’t mean that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will appear.

We understand their [developers] desire to transfer this game to Switch, and specifically in this case, we were happy to support them. And we think that this is logical for the original Ori

The sequel is planned for release only on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

Recall that Ori and the Blind Forest will start on Switch on September 27, while Ori and the Will of the Wisps will reach Microsoft platforms on February 11, 2020.
