Foul Play

Publisher NIS America and Nigoro Studio announced the La-Mulana 1 & 2 collection. It includes two classic platform puzzles - as you might guess, La-Mulana and La-Mulana 2.

The original La-Mulana metrodiving was released in 2005 on the RS. The developers intentionally copied the style of four-bit games for MSX computers. However, over time, the game was remade from scratch under 16-bit and also released on the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Vita.

The sequel, La-Mulana 2, followed in 2018, so its retro look is a stylistic device. If in the first part the ancient ruins were investigated by the professor of archeology Lemeza Kosugi, trying to find his father, then in the sequel the role of the main character passed to his daughter. Lumisa Kosugi arrives in the ruins of La Mulan, in which her father Lemeza disappeared.

Both games are available on Steam, and their reviews are very positive. And now the owners of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles will also get acquainted with the dileogy. The La-Mulana 1 & 2 collection will appear on them at the beginning of 2020.
