Developers announced the release date and showed a new trailer.

PlayStation classic adventure action MediEvil returns this fall, the developers said as part of the State of Play broadcast. Sir Daniel will take up his sword again and set out to free the kingdom of Gallowworld on October 25th.

In the new trailer, the authors of MediEvil concentrated on the story of Sir Daniel Fortescue, the hapless knight who died on the battlefield and a hundred years later accidentally returned to life by the evil sorcerer Lord Zarok.

MediEvil gameplay is not much different from the original from the first PlayStation. But the graphics, of course, noticeably prettier and now allows you to enjoy the classic gameplay and locations with new visual effects and in 4K resolution.

MediEvil Remastered will be released on October 25 only on the PlayStation 4.
