Foul Play

The sequel of the two-dimensional bagel Risk of Rain was released on PC in March, and now got to the PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Hopoo Games announced this today at the Gearbox press conference at PAX West.

According to the plot, users will be thrown onto an unfriendly picturesque planet with a bunch of monsters who are not averse to biting your hero. The characters have to rummage through procedurally generated dungeons and fight hordes of enemies in order to eventually fly home. It can be difficult to defeat bosses alone, so a game has a co-op of up to 4 participants.

While the project is in early access. According to the creators, a full release is scheduled for spring 2020. The developers plan to add more skills, heroes, bosses and items to the game, and the next content update is expected in September. Well, the original Risk of Rain was released on the Xbox One simultaneously with the sequel.
