Nintendo announced that its new mobile game Mario Kart Tour will be released on iOS and Android on September 25, 2019. Below you can find the first trailers of the race, as well as its gameplay video. Pre-registration is already open on the App Store and Google Play.
In the Mario Kart Tour, players will have access to tracks inspired by real cities, as well as some of the classic tracks in the series. In addition, a new mode called Frenzy will appear in the game. It will give players an endless supply of a certain item and make them invulnerable.
Finally, for participation and victory in the race, players will open new racers, maps and gliders. Also, near their name, gamers will be able to place special badges that can be obtained for performing certain challenges. Mario Kart Tour will be free, and the authors plan to make money on in-game purchases.
Recall that previously Nintendo released on mobile platforms Dr. Mario World, which earned $ 1.4 million in its first month. This is less than all previous Nintendo mobile games have earned in their first month.
