Minecraft has a monthly audience of 112 million
Since October 2018, the monthly Minecraft audience has grown by a whopping 21 million people: from 91 to 112 million, a Microsoft representative told Business Insider.
According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the total sales of the international version of virtual LEGO on computers, smartphones and consoles have already exceeded 180 million copies, and the shareware version for China has more than 200 million users.
Business Insider notes that, despite the existence of many popular games that are discussed much more often - the same Fortnite - it is Minecraft that remains the most popular project in the world.
Moreover, today it is the most successful modern game in terms of the number of copies sold:
Minecraft - 180 million copies
Grand Theft Auto V - 110 million copies
Wii Sports - 82 million copies, but the game was bundled with Wii
