Microsoft first showed Minecraft Earth at Build 2019, after which it officially unveiled the game for augmented reality.

Now the project is available for Android users, although it is still in beta. At the moment, residents of Mexico City, London, Tokyo, Seattle and Stockholm can play it.

Microsoft has also confirmed that Minecraft Earth will receive rubies as an in-game currency.

Android users will be able to purchase them during closed beta testing, and Microsoft also plans to add them to the iOS beta in the near future. In addition, they can simply be earned during the game.

It is noted that rubies will be tied to your Xbox Live account and will not disappear when the game leaves early access.

In addition, the developers said that in order to maintain account activity, you need to enter the game at least once every seven days. New users will need a Microsoft or Xbox Live account, and the smartphone must be running Android 7 or iOS 10
