Foul Play

Metacritic aggregator decided to sum up the interim results of 2019, looking at the best, according to critics, games of the first half of the year. Since some projects have the same average rating, several titles are fixed on several positions at once.
It is also worth noting that the top of the rating was captured by products of the Japanese industry, which is not surprising given the number of releases from the Land of the Rising Sun and their overall quality.
In the eighth position with an estimate of 84 points were five games at once:

• Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fieled
• DiRT Rally 2.0
• Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love
• Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey
• Wargroove.

In seventh place with a rating of 85 points was a little less - four:

• Blaster Master Zero II
• Devotion
• Outer wilds
• Total War: Three Kingdoms

Following on the fifth position with 86 points were fixed the following games:

• Amid evil
• Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda
• MLB The Show 19
• Steins; Gate Elite
• Sunless skies

87 points for the first six months of 2019 managed to get only one game:

• Devil May Cry 5

Next in third place with a score of 89 points are three projects:

• Apex legends
• Slay the spire
• Super Mario Maker 2

But the leaders were the hits FromSoftware and Capcom: Sekiro settled in second place with a score of 90 points: Shadows Die Twice, and in the first place - a remake of Resident Evil 2, which managed to get 91 points from journalists.
