In early 2019, the independent French studio The Game Bakers announced its new project, unlike hardcore action movie Furi. And now, the developers have brought the Haven game to the Pax West 2019 exhibition.

Sick Critic has posted excerpts from a demo of Haven on YouTube. In the video, the main characters go hunting for “streams” - fantastic energy that feeds both the starship system and the “boots” that Kay and Yu use.

In the recording you can see episodes of battles in which lovers conduct joint attacks and cover each other with shields. Interestingly, the goal of the battle is not to kill, but to subdue the alien monster. In the game, artificial intelligence will take on the role of a partner, but it is much more interesting to entrust control to a friend or a “special” person, as the developers advise.

Haven will release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2020.
