The multiplayer space simulator Infinity: Battlescape will soon appear in Steam's early access. This will happen on September 27, 2019.
The story of Infinity: Battlescape began back in 2004. Initially, the game was conceived as a dream project: a huge procedurally generated space, exploration and conquest, unlimited possibilities. But over the past fifteen years, much has had to change.
However, basically the project remained true to the plan. Space in Infinity: Battlescape is procedurally generated, and the world remains seamless. However, the universe had to be reduced to the size of a galaxy, so that hundreds of players could be on the same server.
Players are waiting for large-scale space battles. All ships are distinguished by their strengths and weaknesses, and in the game there will be suitable starships for any style of play. In addition, they can be improved and equipped with new weapons, although this will require a lot of loans.
The developers do not have much money - on Kickstarter managed to raise a third of a million dollars. So they do not plan a large-scale advertising campaign. The creators of Infinity: Battlescape hope that the game is best told by those who manage to get to know it.
I-Novae is still silent about the release dates.
