Modder made the game darker, improving nearly 6,000 textures

As you know, Dark Souls 2 is one of the strangest examples of downgrade. Introducing the project for the first time, the developers talked a lot about the gloomy and scary picture and the oppressive atmosphere.

However, after the release, the players saw that the textures came out too bright, and the game itself is a little more colorful than the first part. Modder Save Smokey decided to fix these shortcomings.

A Dark Souls 2 fan has independently improved nearly 6,000 textures, making them darker. He used the iGP11 program, which allows you to change the tonality and brightness of the textures present in the game.

The developer offers two modification options - standard and lite-version. Lightweight textures are not so darkened. You can download the mod from the link.
