Curve Digital publisher, in collaboration with film company Gaumont and Kuju Studios, is preparing to release the game Narcos: Rise of the Cartels. A turn-based strategy with action movie elements is based on the TV series Narco, winner of the Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

The plot of Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is based on the first season of the series, and the narration in it will be conducted on behalf of the most legendary El Patron, Pablo Escobar. Players will be able to choose the roles of a member of the Medellin drug cartel or an agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Fragments of the plot story can be seen in the new trailer of Narcos: Rise of the Cartels. The first frames of the gameplay are also shown there. We’ll follow the police battles with drug lords from a bird’s flight, although at some points the camera moves behind the character’s back.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is due out in fall 2019 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The exact release date has not yet been announced, it is possible that it will shift by the end of the year or even further.
