Foul Play

Among other gameplay videos from gamescom 2019, IGN posted seven minutes of Code Vein role-playing adventure. In them, a pair of vampires fights with monsters among the blazing ruins of a huge building that looks like an abandoned shopping center.

In the video, you can admire the battles with strange local inhabitants, which give a visual representation of the local combat system and some of the character's abilities. However, the main problem for the heroes is not the monsters, but the fire. Burning flames on the walls and floor cause a lot of trouble if you inadvertently touch them in the heat of battle.

The walk through the ruins ends with a battle with a mini-boss who colors blue areas of the entire battlefield with blue fire.
Code Vein talks about a post-apocalyptic world where survivors turned into vampires.

The game will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 27th.
