Foul Play

Taito announced a rhythm action game called Groove Coaster: Wai Wai Party !!!! on #Switch. The project will be released in November in Japan.

Groove Coaster, designed with the concept of "combining a music game and a roller coaster" that got its audience on smartphones, arcades and Steam, will finally visit Switch.

Equipped with "Active Controls" that will be available to the user thanks to Joy-Con, players will be able to play various songs and get the experience that only #Switch can offer.

“Everybody Play” is a mode in which anyone can join in the fun. With support for up to four players, users can enjoy the game in the company of friends or family members.

This mode offers two battle modes: “Wai Wai Battle,” where everyone can play depending on the level of their skills, and “Gachi Battle,” where users that play day after day will be able to test their strength in the battle against other players.

The project will also feature special characters, including Virtual YouTube, Vocaloid, and even characters from the Touhou Project series.

The game has a wide range of popular music, from famous J-POP hits, such as “Lemon” and “U.S.A.,” to anime songs, Vocaloid songs, Touhou Project songs, popular original Groove Coaster songs and much more.
