Foul Play

3D artist Denise Schumer has shared several screenshots of the Half-Life 2 scene, entitled “Water Hazard,” created by Unity Engine. They allow you to evaluate how a classic game would look when using a modern engine.

The images show the same scene, but under different conditions: in clear weather day and night, as well as in thunderstorms. Unfortunately, the model and map are not available, therefore it cannot be said how much this corresponds to the original.

Also, the developer has not yet shown a single video - neither during the development, nor the finished product. Although if a similar version of the game appeared in the release, many would probably appreciate it positively.

Recall that at the very end of last year, enthusiast Joshua James published his version of images and videos from Half-Life 2. There he showed old City-17 channels, weapons, reconnaissance drones and first-aid kits.
