Code Vein developers from Bandai Namco Entertainment have published new information and screenshots of the game, which are dedicated to the Prometheus class and in-game spa resort.
The main characters of Code Vein are the so-called revenants. They were once human, but lost most of their memory in exchange for supernatural powers. At their base you can find a small spa resort with hot mineral springs, where revenants can heal and restore energy.
In addition, plunging into the sources after death, you can recover half of the lost in-game currency. In Code Vein, it is called Haze and works like souls from the Dark Souls series. This feature can come in handy at a time when it is too dangerous to return for all souls.
Also, in the hot springs, you can go over your own memories of in-game adventures and find out the meaning of important terms.
 
 
 
As for the class of Prometheus, then, according to the authors, it is well balanced for battle, but somewhat fragile. That is why his abilities are devoted to dodging and parrying.
Among the abilities of Prometheus can be found Phantom Assault - the hero disappears into the fog, and then cuts the enemy in a jump. This ability can be paired with one-handed swords, halberds, and bayonets. Another class ability was Fire Storm - the character fires a series of fireballs that stun the enemy.
The release of Code Vein will take place on September 27, 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam), however, console players will be able to download the demo of the game on September 3.
