At the weekend in Florida, the Anime Festival Orlando festival of anime culture was held, at which the leading actors of Devil May Cry 5 - Ruben Langdon (Dante) and Daniel Southworth (Virgil) performed.
At the end of their almost one-hour performance, the artists asked all the spectators not to shoot the rest of the panel, where they eventually showed a clip from Capcom. Southworth later reported on Facebook that they could not talk about filling the video before the publisher’s public announcement.
Many fans of the franchise were seriously excited, hoping for an early announcement of something about Devil May Cry 5, but obviously not to continue, because the slasher came out literally a few months ago. Perhaps Capcom is still working on an add-on, despite the announcement of the complete end of production.
It is possible that the announcement will thunder at gamescom 2019 (August 20-24), because during the opening ceremony of the exhibition on August 19, a certain world premiere from Capcom should thunder.
Devil May Cry 5 was released March 8 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In the first four months, its circulation amounted to 2.5 million copies - this is the most successful start in the history of the franchise. Recently there was information that the game could be added to the Xbox Game Pass library.
