InXile Studio released on PC an improved version of its role-playing game The Bard's Tale IV. The directorial edition is now available on Steam and GOG.com. And the owners of the original game will receive an extended version for free and automatically.
The developers announced that they will make a gift to all customers of The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut: The Bard's Tale Trilogy, updated three original games. This offer is valid for a week after the release, and to get a bonus it is enough to buy a standard edition.

Update 2.0, dubbed Director’s Cut, brings the game a new dungeon with its own storyline and previously unseen enemies. Players will be able to get new items of equipment, and a new song of the bards will allow you to skip boring puzzles. And the game will now begin with a new cinematic video.
In addition, the creators corrected the game balance, updated the engine, remade the menu and revised the design of a number of levels. Many game errors were also fixed - the game came out frankly raw.
The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut has also been released on the PS4 and Xbox One and is available to owners of the Xbox Pass.
