The Virtual Basement team is working on the Broomstick League game, when viewing the trailer of which we immediately recall Quidditch from the Harry Potter universe. Of course, this is not an official Quidditch simulator, but the idea is exactly the same.
In early Steam access, the project will launch in the first quarter of next year, and visitors to the TwitchCon 2019 event in late September will be able to test it before release. Participants in the matches will be divided into two teams, fly on brooms, catch the ball and use magic to defend the target and defeat opponents.
The game will offer modes 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. A lot of character settings are promised - it will be possible to change not only the appearance of the sorcerer, but also his broom, magic wand and much more. Not without dancing and ridicule.
By the way, in 2003 Electronic Arts tried to offer the audience a Quidditch simulator, it was called Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup. In the press, he received mixed ratings, and was forgotten quite quickly - perhaps in 2020, a nostalgic audience will react to a similar game with great interest.
