The creators of Borderlands 3 told what awaits the players after the completion of the main storyline company.

Firstly, the Guardian Rank system will open, which is very similar to the Recklessness Rating from the previous parts of the series. It unlocks additional skins and special improvements for characters.

In exchange for Rank points, the hero will be allowed to choose one or another ability from three different pumping trees: increase damage, pump health bar, reduce cooldown and much more. These bonuses will be received by all Hunters on the account.

Secondly, special modes will become available. In True Vault Hunter, “New Game +”, players are waiting for more formidable enemies and rare loot. In Mayhem it will be possible to change the complexity of the game to your taste: for example, enemies will receive more health and enhanced armor, and the hero will be given extra money and unique items in return.

It is worth considering that Mayhem buffs and debuffs will act on all planets in the game. There are three levels of difficulty, and the developers warn that starting immediately from the third means signing a death sentence.

In honor of the new regime, Gearbox immediately released three funny videos, stylized as ads for clothes, shampoo and cola, where Crazies get along with live actors.

Well, after the release of the game, which will take place on September 13, users are waiting for free updates, the Bloody Harvest event, a new map, an additional boss, and much more. Paid DLC is also planned, but the details have not been disclosed.

It also became known that soon not only PS4 owners will be able to evaluate Borderlands 2 in virtual reality. Gearbox posted a trailer in which it announced the PC version of the shooter: it will be available in the fall.

Borderlands 2 VR includes all the content from the original game - and more. A familiar story in which you need to free Pandora from the oppression of Handsome Jack, was decorated with new gameplay mechanics: for example, time dilation.
