VG247 reported that 2K provided copies of Borderlands 3 prior to release for review only to “certain US publications.” The company cited possible security problems as the reason for this decision.
Thus, many publications, including European ones, will not be able to publish their reviews of the game on September 9. It was at this time that the embargo on the publication of reviews of Borderlands 3 fell.
