Authors of Devil May Cry 5 want to see the continuation of DmC: Devil May Cry, but only from Ninja Theory

Executive producer of Devil May Cry 5 Matt Walker told US Gamer that creative director of slasher Hideaki Itsuno and the entire project team would like to see a full-fledged sequel to DmC: Devil May Cry.
But with one condition - that they were engaged in Ninja Theory, and not anyone else, including Japanese developers.
In recognition of Walker, the Japanese team Devil May Cry wanted to work with the British from Ninja Theory on the sequel to the DmC five years ago, but then did not grow together - apparently the reason for the low restart sales that did not satisfy the Capcom executives at the time.

And we still want to see a sequel, but Ninja Theory has to do it - such an amazing style and content originated from the studio’s understanding of what is cool.

DmC cannot exist without Ninja Theory.

Unfortunately, the appearance of DmC: Devil May Cry 2 from Ninja Theory is unlikely, since last year Microsoft owns the studio. Perhaps, of course, given the same Dead Rising 3, companies will be able to reach an agreement, and the slasher will become the exclusive platform of the corporation - Xbox and Windows.
Still, hardly anyone a few years ago seriously expected to see Devil May Cry 5!
The March novelty Itzuno and Capcom, by the way, showed the best start in franchise history - 2 million copies in 13 days.
