Last week, the consoles immediately released four new items, and the winner in the UK retail was Astral Chain, exclusive to Switch. The rest of the games took three places below her.
The action game "Control" showed the fourth best start among all the studio's games and the second best debut of the new IP since the release of Bayonetta in 2010. This is the sixth game for Nintendo Switch, which won first place in the English retail chart this year.
Just 1100 copies from Astral Chain lagged behind Wreckfest publisher THQ Nordic and developers from Bugbear Interactive studio (FlatOut series). The third line went to The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan horror by Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games (Until Dawn), which was only 250 copies behind Wreckfest.
The last new product of the last week was Control from the publisher of 505 Games and developers from the Remedy studio (Max Payne, Alan Wake). The action took the fourth line, behind 300 copies of Man of Medan.
In addition, Marvel's Spider-Man returned to the top ten with weekly sales growth of 221%. Growth was promoted by discounts at some English retailers.
