Publisher KOEI Tecmo has announced a new role-playing game Fairy Tail, which is working on studio Gust. The game is based on the Hiro Masima's “Fairy Tail” manga and its anime adaptation. The manga creator himself takes part in the work on the game.
The action of Fairy Tail takes place in a world where magicians live, who unite in a guild of wizards. The main character, seventeen-year-old caster Lucy, joins the Fairy Tail guild. There she makes friends with the dragon slayer Natsu, his flying cat Happy, ice mage Gray and sorceress Erza.
Together, young magicians carry out guild missions, but over time, everything becomes much more serious: dark magicians and demons strive to destroy the world, each for its own reasons and in its own way. And at the center of the confrontation unexpectedly is the eccentric guild "Fairy Tail".
The first short teaser makes it difficult to understand what adventures await the heroes familiar to fans. And Fairy Tail will be released in 2020 on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
