Daybreak Game Company has posted the first gameplay video of its futuristic "royal battle" PlanetSide Arena.

In the video, you can see a cut of a full-fledged match in Squads mode, where squads of 12 people each fight in a huge arena. In it you can admire the various vehicles, flying on jetpacks and the final battle involving a whole tank column.

At first, the game will have only three main modes, but with each season, the developers plan to introduce new ones - for example, capturing the flag and Deathmatch. Before the start of the battle, users will be given a choice of three character classes: attack aircraft, engineer or medic. Each will be equipped with a jetpack and endowed with unique abilities.

PlanetSide Arena will be released early on September 19.
