Today, the Ukrainian studio 4A Games revealed the details of two additions for Metro Exodus, which will be included in the season ticket. The first addition will be released this summer, and the second - in the winter of 2020. For the first time in the series, the new chapters of the Exodus will tell about the fate of other characters.
At the beginning of the first expansion, called “Two Colonels”, players will play for Colonel Khlebnikov, who returns home to his son from a regular raid into the tunnels of the Novosibirsk metro. Then, a year later, Colonel Melnikov will follow in his footsteps. "Two Colonels" will be a classic, linear mission in the spirit of the first games in the series. Players will have access to a new type of weapon - a flamethrower, and the action will take place in the cramped, uncomfortable dungeons of the Siberian million-plus subway, where vile rot has spread along the walls, and the attacks of mutants occur more and more often.
The second addition, "The Story of Sam" will be a mission in an open location based on Far Eastern Vladivostok, in which the Spartan Sam will leave the Aurora car to find his way back to his homeland - the United States.
